Installation Procedure

  1. Align the front impact bar to the frame rail.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the front impact bar bolts to the frame rail.
  3. Tighten 
  4. Tighten the bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
  5. Install the front bumper energy absorber to the front impact bar.
  6. Install the push-in retainers to the front bumper energy absorber.
  7. Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to FASCIA REPLACEMENT - FRONT BUMPER (PONTIAC)   or FASCIA REPLACEMENT - FRONT BUMPER (CHEVROLET)   .
