Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to JACKING AND LIFTING in General Information.
  2. Remove both of the front tire and wheels. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  in Tires and Wheels.
  3. Remove the right and left front fender liner. Refer to FENDER LINER REPLACEMENT  in Body Front End.
  4. Remove the front park/turn signal/side marker lamp. Refer to PARK/TURN SIGNAL/SIDE MARKER LAMP REPLACEMENT  in Lighting Systems.
  5. Use the J 38778  to remove the push-in retainers from the upper and lower front bumper fascia.
  6. Remove the front bumper fascia from the vehicle.
