Weld Stud Replacement

If a weld stud is damaged during a repair procedure, perform the following steps in order to replace the weld stud:

CAUTION: Refer to SAFETY GLASSES CAUTION in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Drill a hole into the same location as the damaged weld stud.
  2. Drive a screw into the drilled hole.
  3. Use a screw to retain the following components:
    • The clips
    • The moldings
    • Other components
  4. If the surface is damaged, repair and paint the surface as needed in order to provide a smooth surface.
