Installation Procedure

  1. Ensure that the retainer is approximately room temperature 22°C (72°F).
  2. Use isopropyl alcohol to clean the area of the outer door panel where the molding retainer will be installed.

    Important:  Do not touch the adhesive backing of the molding retainer.

  3. Remove the protective liner from the back of the molding retainer.
  4. Align the push-in retainers to the holes in the outer door panel.
  5. Press the molding to the outer door panel until fully seated.
  6. Press on the center locking pins until the retainer is fully seated.
  7. Install the side door molding. Refer to MOLDING REPLACEMENT - DOOR BODY SIDE   .
