Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the side door molding. Refer to MOLDING REPLACEMENT - DOOR BODY SIDE   .
  2. Use a J 25070  to heat the upper edge of the molding retainer. Use a circular motion 152 mm (6 in) from the retainer for 30 seconds.
    NOTE: Refer to EXTERIOR TRIM EMBLEM REMOVAL NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Use a plastic flat-bladed tool to remove the retainer from the outer door panel.
