Installation Procedure

  1. Ensure that the molding retainer is approximately room temperature 22°C (72°F).
  2. Use isopropyl alcohol to clean the area of the outer door panel where the molding retainer will be installed.

    Important:  Do NOT touch the adhesive backing.

  3. Remove the protective liner from the back of the retainer.
  4. Align the retainer to the rear bottom corner and the lower edge of the outer door panel.
  5. Press the retainer to the outer door panel until fully seated.
  6. Install the side door molding. Refer to MOLDING REPLACEMENT - DOOR BODY SIDE   .
