Installation Procedure

Align the rear rocker molding retainer to the stud on the rocker panel.

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
Install the nut to the rear rocker molding retainer.
Tighten

Tighten the rear rocker molding retainer nut to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

Align and snap the plugs into the remainder of the rocker molding retainers in the rocker panel.

Align the rocker molding to the rocker molding retainers.
Position the rear of the rocker molding flush to the wheelhouse opening.

Tuck the upper flange of the rocker molding over the retainers.
Roll the rocker molding inboard inserting the rocker molding into the retainers.

Install the push-in retainer at the rear of the rocker molding.
Install the fender splash shield. Refer to SPLASH SHIELD REPLACEMENT - ENGINE in Body Front End.
