Removal Procedure

Remove the screws from the rear quarter molding.

Use J 25070 152 mm (6 in) from the surface in order to heat the lower quarter molding. Use a circular motion for 30 seconds when applying heat.
NOTE: Refer to EXTERIOR TRIM EMBLEM REMOVAL NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
Use a flat-bladed tool in order to remove the quarter molding from the surface.
Pull the lower quarter molding out, in order to release the retainers.
Pull the lower quarter molding out, in order to release from the lower locating pins.
Pull the quarter molding up, in order to release from the upper support.
Remove the quarter molding from the quarter panel.

Pull out the center pins of the support retainers.

Use J 25070 152 mm (6 in) from the surface in order to heat the lower quarter molding. Use a circular motion for 30 seconds when applying heat.

Use a flat-bladed tool in order to remove the quarter molding from the surface.
Remove the quarter molding support from the quarter panel.
Use oil-free naphtha or alcohol in order to clean the body panel.
Remove all traces of adhesive from the body panel.
