Circuit Description

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Montana, 2003 Oldsmobile Silhouette, and 2003 Chevrolet Venture. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The body control module (BCM) flashes the headlamps and pulses the horns when a theft attempt is detected. The BCM grounds the headlamp and parklamp control circuits via a discrete input of the daytime running lamps (DRL) control module. The DRL control module actuates the headlamp and park lamp relays internal to the DRL control module.
