Removal Procedure

- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECT/CONNECT PROCEDURE in Battery
- Remove the instrument panel. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT .
- Remove the body control module. Refer to BODY CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT in Body Control System.
- Remove the DRL module. Refer to DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS (DRL) CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT in Lighting Systems.
- Remove the EBTCM module. Refer to ANTILOCK BRAKE SYSTEM in Antilock Brake System.
- Remove the steering column. Refer to STEERING COLUMN REPLACEMENT in Steering Wheel and Column.
- Remove the A/C module. Refer to HVAC CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.
- Remove the IP air outlet ducts. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) AIR OUTLET DUCTS REPLACEMENT in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.
- Remove the center air outlet. Refer to AIR OUTLET REPLACEMENT - CENTER in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.
- Remove the defroster duct. Refer to AIR OUTLET DUCT REPLACEMENT - DEFROSTER in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.
- Remove the bolts/screws which secure the IP carrier to the body.
- Remove the IP carrier from the body.
