Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Montana, 2003 Oldsmobile Silhouette, and 2003 Chevrolet Venture. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Connect the electrical connectors.
  2. Slide the IP compartment into the opening in the instrument panel.
  3. Align the locator pins the hole in the instrument panel.
  4. Align the retaining clips with the slots.
  5. Push in the IP compartment until secure.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  6. Install the screws (1) to the IP compartment.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

  7. Close the IP compartment door.
