Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the cigarette lighter fuse.
  2. Place one side of the T-portion of J 42059  into the tab window and angle the other portion into the opposite table window. Pull the cigarette lighter socket straight out.
  3. Remove the tool from the cigarette lighter socket.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the front console cigarette lighter socket.
  5. Remove the cigarette lighter port retainer by using your index finger and pulling out.
