Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the IP accessory trim plate. Refer to TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) ACCESSORY  .
  2. Push up on the ashtray guide tension spring on both sides of the ashtray.
  3. Push up on the metal housing center ashtray retaining tab.
  4. Pull the ashtray out of the IP accessory trim plate.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  6. Remove the ashtray from the IP accessory trim plate.
