Removal Procedure

The radiator support flange (1) mounts the ambient outside air temperature sensor near the radiator baffle. A 2-wire weather pack electrical connector attaches the ambient outside air temperature sensor to the forward lamp harness (2). In order to service the ambient outside air temperature sensor, perform the following steps:

  1. Turn the ignition OFF.
  2. Open the hood.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the outside ambient air temperature sensor.
  4. Remove the outside ambient air temperature sensor to radiator support bolt.
  5. Remove the outside ambient air temperature sensor from the vehicle.
