Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Montana, 2003 Oldsmobile Silhouette, and 2003 Chevrolet Venture. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the outlet hose.
  2. Connect the outlet hose to the radiator.

    Important:  Release the hose clamp retention lock By using a small flat Bladed screwdriver.

  3. Release the hose clamp retention lock at the radiator to secure the hose.
  4. Connect the outlet hose to the water pump housing.
  5. Release the hose clamp retention lock at the water pump housing to secure the hose.
  6. Fill the coolant. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING COOLING SYSTEM   .
