Valve Rocker Arm Cover Installation - Left

  1. Install the valve rocker arm cover gasket into the valve rocker arm cover.
  2. Apply sealer GM P/N United States 12346286, GM P/N Canada 10953472 or the equivalent to the notches where the cylinder head and intake manifold meet.
  3. Install the valve rocker arm cover.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the valve rocker arm cover bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the valve rocker arm cover bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
