Crankcase Ventilation System Inspection/Diagnosis: Notes

- A plugged valve (3) or hose (2 & 4) may cause the following conditions:
- Rough idle
- Stalling or a low idle speed
- Oil leaks
- Oil the air cleaner
- Sludge in the engine
- A leaking crankcase ventilation valve (3) or hose (2 & 4) may cause the following conditions:
- Rough idle
- Stalling
- High idle speed
