Conditions For Setting DTC

DTC will set if the output speed drops more than 500 RPM and remains for more than 0.8 second when:
- DTC P0705, P0716, P0717, P1756 and P1758 have not set.
- Ignition voltage is 8-18 volts.
- Engine speed is greater than 500 RPM for at least 5 seconds.
- Time since PNP switch change more than 6 seconds.
- Transaxle input speed is greater than 200 RPM.
- Transaxle output speed has been 600 RPM or greater for more than 5 seconds.
- Transaxle output speed does not increase by more than 200 RPM within a 25 millisecond period for more than 3 seconds.
- Transaxle input speed does not change more than 100 RPM within a 25 millisecond period for more than 3 seconds.
- PNP switch is not equal to Park or Neutral.
DTC P0723 diagnostic runs continuously when the above conditions have been met. DTC P0723 is a type "A" DTC.
