Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to JACKING AND LIFTING in General Information.
  2. Lower the ALC. air compressor assembly. Refer to AIR COMPRESSOR REPLACEMENT   . 
  3. Remove the ALC compressor relay. Refer toAUTOMATIC LEVEL CONTROL RELAY REPLACEMENT   . 
  4. Remove the ALC shield bolt (1) and retainers.

  5. Remove the ALC shield (2) from the vehicle.
