Receiver Dehydrator Replacement: Notes

Tools Required 

J 39400-A  Halogen Leak Detector. See Special Tools and Equipment .

  1. Recover the refrigerant from the A/C system. Refer to REFRIGERANT RECOVERY AND RECHARGING   . 
  2. Remove the condenser. Refer to CONDENSER REPLACEMENT   . 
  3. Remove the receiver dehydrator upper bracket bolt.
  4. Remove the receiver dehydrator lower mounting bolts.

  5. Remove the receiver dehydrator.
  6. Remove the discard the sealing washers.
