Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the I/P cluster trim plate. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) CLUSTER  in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  2. Use a small, flat-bladed tool to depress the retainers.
  3. Remove the deflector housing from the I/P outer air outlet.

  4. Press from the back side of the I/P cluster trim plate to remove the deflector from the I/P outer air outlet.
  5. Pull off the deflector thumbwheel from the pivot point on the I/P trim plate.
