Installation Procedure

  1. Press the deflector thumbwheel tab into the slot on the pivot point on the I/P cluster trim plate.
  2. Align the deflector for the I/P outer air outlet to the pivot points in the I/P cluster trim plate.
  3. Press in from the front side of the I/P cluster trim plate to install the deflector.

  4. Perform the following steps to align the deflector housing to the retainers on the back side of the I/P cluster trim plate:
    1. 4.1 Align the deflector housing lever to the arm on the thumbwheel.
    2. 4.2 Press the deflector housing into the retainers until fully seated.
  5. Install the I/P cluster trim plate. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) CLUSTER  in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
