Clunk When Accelerating from Coast

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

A worn or damaged front wheel drive shaft constant velocity joint or a front wheel drive shaft tri-pot joint can cause a clunk during acceleration from coast to drive.
