Installation Procedure

  1. Position the rear compartment lid ajar switch to the rear compartment lid latch.
  2. Install the electric connector.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the screw (5) to the rear compartment lid ajar/lid lamp switch.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the rear compartment lid ajar switch screw to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

  4. Install the rear compartment lid latch. Refer to LATCH REPLACEMENT - REAR COMPARTMENT LID  .
  5. Close the rear compartment.
