Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix and 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the rear quarter lower trim panel to the rear quarter inner panel.
  2. Install the rear quarter lower trim by pressing into place until fully seated.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Return the carpet retaining leg of the lower center trim panel and install the screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  4. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to SEAT CUSHION REPLACEMENT -- REAR in Seats.
  5. Install the rear seat back. Refer to SEAT BACK REPLACEMENT -- REAR (STATIONARY) or SEAT BACK REPLACEMENT -- REAR (FOLDING) in Seats.
