Removal Procedure

  1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery And Recharging  .
  2. Remove the upper diagonal brace from the left front fender. Refer to BRACE REPLACEMENT - FRONT FENDER UPPER DIAGONAL .
  3. Remove the air cleaner assembly.
  4. Remove the vacuum brake booster. Refer to POWER BRAKE BOOSTER .
  5. Remove the condenser tube from the support clip.
  6. Disconnect the evaporator tube nut from the condenser tube.
  7. Disconnect the evaporator tube from the condenser tube.

  9. Remove the accumulator tube block fitting bolt from the evaporator.
  10. Disconnect the evaporator tube from the evaporator.
  11. Remove the O-ring and discard.
