Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the engine coolant from the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING COOLING SYSTEM .
  2. Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor. Refer to ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR .
  3. Remove the radiator support clamp from the engine mount strut bolt.
  4. Remove the engine mount strut at the left engine mount strut bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Replacement - Left  and Engine Mount Strut Replacement - Right .

  5. Remove the engine mount strut bracket bolts.
  6. Remove the engine mount strut bracket.
