Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front and center side weatherstrip from the retainer. Refer to WEATHERSTRIP REPLACEMENT - FOLDING TOP (FRONT AND CENTER SIDE RAILS)  or WEATHERSTRIP REPLACEMENT - FOLDING TOP (REAR SIDE RAIL)  or WEATHERSTRIP REPLACEMENT - FOLDING TOP (NUMBER FIVE BOW) .
  2. Remove the screws from the side weatherstrip retainer.
  3. Remove the retainer.
  4. Pull the window blowout clip from the front side retainer.
  5. Clean the adhesive from the blowout clip using 3M™ P/N 8984 or equivalent.
