Installation Procedure

  1. Install the heater door.
  2. Install a new case seal
  3. Align and attach the HVAC case halves.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  4. Install the HVAC case retaining screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).

  5. Install the heater door linkage.
  6. Install the defroster actuator.
  7. Install the HVAC module. Refer to HVAC MODULE ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT  .
