Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Engine Cooling.
  2. Remove the wiper motor module assembly. Refer to Wiper Motor Module Replacement in Wipers/Washer Systems.
  3. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the brake booster and reposition the hose.
  4. Disconnect the outlet heater hose from the outlet heater pipe.

  6. Use J 38185  to disconnect the outlet heater hose clamp.
  7. Disconnect the hose from the heater core.
  8. Remove the hose.
