Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Engine Cooling.
  2. Remove the wiper motor module assembly. Refer to Wiper Motor Module Replacement in Wipers/Washer Systems.
  3. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the brake booster and reposition the hose.
  4. Disconnect the inlet heater hose from the inlet heater pipe.

  5. Using J 38185  disconnect the heater hose clamp.
  6. Disconnect the inlet heater hose from the heater core.
  7. Remove the inlet heater hose.
