All-Wheel Drive (AWD) Disable Indicator

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Aztek and 2004 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The AWD disable indicator is located in the instrument panel cluster (IPC). This lamp is used to inform the driver that the AWD system has been disabled and no torque will be applied to the rear wheels during a slip condition. The AWD disable indicator is controlled by the PCM/TCM via a class 2 message.
