Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Disconnect the height sensor from the lower control arm as necessary.
  3. Fig 1: View Of Left And Right Side Stabilizer Shaft Insulators And Brackets (All Wheel Drive)

  4. Remove the stabilizer shaft insulator bracket bolts and nuts.
  5. Remove the stabilizer shaft insulator brackets along with the automatic level control (ALC) position sensor, if necessary.
  6. Remove the stabilizer shaft insulators from the stabilizer shaft.
