Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the coil spring. Refer to Coil Spring Replacement (Front Wheel Drive with Axle)  or Coil Spring Replacement (Front Wheel Drive without Axle)  or Coil Spring Replacement (All Wheel Drive) .
  2. Fig 1: Marking Lower Control Arm At The Cam Indicator

  3. Make a mark on the lower control arm at the cam indicator (1).

  5. Remove the lower control arm to crossmember mounting bolts (1, 5).
  6. Remove the lower control arm.
