Installation Procedure

    IMPORTANT: Rotate the oil pump driveshaft as necessary in order to obtain the engagement with the oil pump drive.
  1. Install the crankshaft oil deflector.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the crankshaft oil deflector nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  5. Install the oil pump and oil pump drive shaft.
  6. Install the oil pump bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the oil pump bolt to 41 N.m (30 lb ft).

  7. Install the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement .
