Oil Cooler Hose/Pipes (4T65-E): Removal

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Position a drain pan under the vehicle. Remove the transaxle oil cooler hose retainer at the transaxle. See Fig 1 .
  2. Slide the white plastic covers away from the transaxle oil cooler hose quick connections. Disconnect the transaxle oil cooler hoses from the transaxle using the Cooler Quick Connect Tool (J-41623-B). See Fig 2 .
  3. Slide the white plastic covers away from the transaxle oil cooler hose quick connections. Disconnect the transaxle oil cooler hoses from the radiator using the cooler quick connect tool. Remove the transaxle oil cooler hoses (1, 2) from the vehicle. See Fig 3 .
