Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the air cleaner duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Intake Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.4L.
  2. Drain the coolant until the coolant level is below the throttle body heater hoses. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .
  3. Use the J 38185  in order to remove the hose clamp. See Special Tools and Equipment .

  4. Remove the throttle body heater outlet hose.
