Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Aztek and 2004 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the wheel opening molding retainers to the molding, if removed.

  2. Position the front wheel opening molding to the fender.

  3. Align the push-in retainers to the holes in the fender.
  4. Press the front wheel opening molding to the fender until all of the retainers are fully seated.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  5. Install the front wheel opening molding screws to the front wheel opening molding.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  6. Press the corner of the front fascia to the fender to seat the retainer.

  7. Install the screws to the corner of the front fascia.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
