Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the purge line retainer to the fuel feed hose bracket as necessary.

  2. Install the fuel feed hose to the fuel rail.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the fuel feed hose bracket and the fuel feed hose bracket bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fuel feed hose bracket bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Install the purge line to the purge line retainer.
  5. Install the fuel pressure and EVAP hoses to the engine. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Metal Collar)  and Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) .
  6. Install the air inlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Intake Duct Replacement .
