Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Aztek and 2004 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the following components to the vehicle:
    • The antenna cable
    • The antenna cable extension
    • Install the antenna cable to the instrument panel carrier.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the bolt which secures the antenna cable extension to the roof.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 3.2 N.m (28 lb in).

  3. Install the trim panel at the right cowl side. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Cowl Side in Interior Trim.
  4. Install the garnish molding to the windshield. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Windshield Pillar in Interior Trim.
  5. Install the sunshade anchor. Refer to Sunshade Anchor Replacement in Interior Trim.
  6. Install the sunshade. Refer to Sunshade Replacement in Interior Trim.
  7. Install the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
