Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 GMC Sonoma, 2003 GMC Jimmy, 2003 Chevrolet S10 Pickup, and 2003 Chevrolet Blazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the liftgate window latch.

    Ensure that the window latch is properly aligned with the marks made during disassembly.

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the nuts that retain the liftgate window latch to the latch support.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (88 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connectors, as needed.
  4. Install the liftgate trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - LIFT GATE .
