Filler Tube (4L60-E): Installation

  1. Install a new filler tube seal into the transmission case. Install the filler tube into the seal. See Fig 1 .
  2. Install the bolt securing the filler tube bracket to the transmission and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Install the bolt securing the filler tube bracket to the engine and tighten to specification See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  4. Lower the vehicle. Install the oil level indicator. Adjust fluid level as necessary. See LUBRICATION  .
