Removal Procedure

- Remove the front seats. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT -- JUMP in Seats.
- Remove the rear seats. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT -- REAR (2-DOOR UTILITY) or SEAT REPLACEMENT -- REAR (4-DOOR UTILITY) or SEAT REPLACEMENT -- REAR (CREW CAB) in Seats.
- Remove the rear seat belt buckles from the floor. Refer to SEAT BELT REPLACEMENT--REAR (UTILITY) or SEAT BELT REPLACEMENT--REAR (CREW CAB) in Seat Belts.
- Remove the door sill trim plates. Refer to DOOR SILL PLATE REPLACEMENT .
- For 4-door models, remove the front side door lock pillar garnish moldings. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT - SIDE DOOR LOCK PILLAR (CF5) .
- For 4-door models, remove the C-pillar lower trim panels. Refer to TRIM REPLACEMENT - THIRD PILLAR (EXTENDED CAB PICKUP W/ REAR SIDE DOOR) or TRIM REPLACEMENT - THIRD PILLAR (4-DOOR UTILITY) .
- Remove the body side trim panels as necessary. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - BODY SIDE (STANDARD CAB PICKUP) or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - BODY SIDE (EXTENDED CAB PICKUP) or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - BODY SIDE (2-DOOR UTILITY) or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - BODY SIDE (4-DOOR UTILITY) or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - BODY SIDE (CREW CAB) .
- Remove the floor console or cup holder, if equipped. Refer to the appropriate procedure:
- Remove the body hinge pillar trim panels. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - LEFT HINGE PILLAR and to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - RIGHT HINGE PILLAR .
- Remove the carpet or mat from the vehicle.
