Removal Procedure

- Remove the seat from the vehicle. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - Bucket .
- Remove the cupholder and bracket, if equipped.
Refer to CUPHOLDER REPLACEMENT - Front Seat .
- Remove the seat back recliner assembly, if equipped. Refer to SEAT BACK RECLINER HANDLE REPLACEMENT - Front .
- Remove the trim plate.
- Separate the J-strips from the seat bottom frame.
Important: Do not damage the seat fabric when removing the velcro retaining cover.
- Separate the hook and loop strips (1) that retain the seat pad (3) to the seat cover (2).
- Disconnect the electrical connections, as needed.
- Remove the seat back release lever, if equipped.
- Remove the manual lumbar support knob, if equipped. Refer to LUMBAR SUPPORT KNOB REPLACEMENT .
- Remove the power seat control switch, if equipped. Refer to SEAT SWITCH REPLACEMENT - Power .
- Remove the seat back from the seat bottom bolts.
- Remove the seat belt buckle bolt.
- Remove the seat belt buckle from the seat.
- Remove the seat bottom cover.
- Remove the seat bottom pad.
