Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the seat from the vehicle. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - Bucket .
  2. Remove the seat back cover and pad. Refer to SEAT BACK COVER AND PAD REPLACEMENT - Front .
  3. Remove the seat cushion trim cover and pad.

    Refer to SEAT CUSHION TRIM COVER AND PAD REPLACEMENT (BENCH)  or SEAT CUSHION TRIM COVER AND PAD REPLACEMENT (BUCKET) .

  4. Disconnect the electrical connector for the seat back recliner motor, if equipped.
  5. Remove the bolts securing the seat back to the seat adjuster assembly.
  6. Remove the seat back.
