Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 GMC Sonoma, 2003 GMC Jimmy, 2003 Chevrolet S10 Pickup, and 2003 Chevrolet Blazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the dome lamp base to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the screws that retain the dome lamp base to the high mount stoplamp from inside of the vehicle.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

  3. Install the dome lamp bulb.
  4. Install the dome lamp lens.

    Squeeze the lens in order to engage the tabs.

  5. Install the battery negative cable.
