Oil Cooler Pipes: Removal

  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the Transaxle Oil Cooler (TOC) hose retainer bolt. See Fig 1 .
  3. Position a drain pan below the oil cooler hoses.
  4. Reposition the TOC connector cap.
  5. Use a flat-blade tool in order to remove the TOC connector retainer. See Fig 2 .
  6. Repeat steps  4 and  5 for the other connections as needed.
  7. Remove the TOC inlet hose from the transaxle. See Fig 3 .
  8. Remove the TOC outlet hose from the transaxle. See Fig 4 .
  9. Remove the TOC hoses from the radiator. See Fig 5 .
  10. Remove the TOC hoses.
