Luggage Carrier New Installation

  1. Remove the screws from the roof rail moldings.
  2. Remove the roof rail moldings from the roof.

  3. Position the luggage carrier side rails to the roof.
  4. Install the luggage carrier side rail screws to the side rails.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the luggage carrier side rail screws to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  5. Remove the luggage carrier side rail trim covers from the rails using a small flat bladed tool.
  6. Lift up on the luggage carrier cross rail levers in order to engage the cross rails into the side rails.
  7. Slide the luggage carrier cross rails to the desired position.
  8. Release the levers on the luggage carrier cross rails to lock them into position.
  9. Install the luggage carrier side rail trim covers to the slots in the rails, pressing until fully seated.
