Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Aztek and 2003 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the rear No. 2 seat. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT -- REAR NO. 2 (BUICK) .
  2. Remove the seat belt guide loops from the rear seat and from the rear No. 2 seat. Refer to SEAT BELT RETRACTOR REPLACEMENT - REAR and SEAT BELT RETRACTOR REPLACEMENT - NO. 2 REAR .
  3. Remove the upper trim panels from the rear quarter. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR QUARTER UPPER (AZTEK)  or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR QUARTER UPPER (RENDEZVOUS)  .
  4. Remove the bolts which secure the cargo net tie-down loops.

  5. Remove the cargo net tie-down loops from the rear quarter trim panel.
  6. Remove the rear quarter trim panel from the vehicle.
