Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Aztek and 2003 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the trim plate bezel. Press the bezel into place until seated.
  2. Tighten the steering column bracket nuts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the nuts to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the DIC switch to the trim plate bezel. Refer to DRIVER INFORMATION CENTER SWITCH REPLACEMENT (RENDEZVOUS)  or DRIVER INFORMATION CENTER SWITCH REPLACEMENT (AZTEK)  .
  4. Install the knee bolster panel. Refer to KNEE BOLSTER REPLACEMENT  .
